My Secret Crush

ENOUGH SAID.

Haha, ok....... I am not a super fan, but a fan of his music.  There is just something about his voice. :)
Anyway I picked up his new album to listen to on my drive from OR to Vegas... my dad and I talked too much to really listen to it.  Today, I finally got a chance to listen to most of the new beats and basically it just renewed my secret crush I have on Archie.

Ian's Halloween Costume

This is Ian, my nephew.  We took him to the ward Trunk-or-treat and my sister Tippy and her husband Tyler (their little boy) decided to dress him as a monkey this year.  My bro in law wasn't able to make it to the trunk-or-treat, but let me tell you... all of us were rolling.  This was such and adorable costume, what horrible cruelty for when this little guy is older, but it all made us smile so much! He is such a good kid and I love him LOTS! :)

Grandpa is trying to teach Ian how to put candy in his trick-or-treat bag.  By the way my sister Tippy made that adorable bag for Ian to use for trick-or-treating... it is sooooo cute!

And Success...... M&Ms!

Handing out candy with grandma!

PS:  Tippy is having a little girl in Feb.

Trip from OR Through CA to Vegas

I have made it back to Vegas... got here on Saturday.  My dad flew into Medford on Friday the 15th and I picked him up from the airport in the morning and we left straight from there.   Our journey took us down I-5 through CA up to Redding.  I didn't get any photos of Mt. Shasta and Shasta Lake but they were BEAUTIFUL.  Just south of Redding we hopped on to another highway to make it in to Marysville to see my dad's mom.

After our stop in Marysville we made it to Fresno and decided to stay the night, we both were exhausted!  In the morning we made our way to the last leg of the trip.  When we hit bakersfield just on the outskirts we found this great family farm.  It is called Murray Family Farms.  We ate, looked around, talked to a few people.  It was a cute little place with some wonderful Fruit.

Our new favorite fruit... The yellow/green colored fruit in the middle and the ones on the far right are both different types of Pluot.  They are a mix of a plum and and apricot. DELICIOUS!

Preparing our Roasted Corn.

After all those fun adventures we finally made it back to Las Vegas Saturday Evening! I really enjoyed spending the time with my dad and I am glad to be back home.

To Start This Blog

I am starting this blog as a new venture of me, Chelsea.  The story of where I am headed and what has happened is soon to come, but for now I am going to try and start journaling along with the other day-to-day activities.  Recently we made journal jars at our monthly Relief Society Meeting.  As a personal goal of mine I am going to use those little pieces of paper to really start off my goal of journaling more.  Wish me luck and I look forward to hearing from you!

Love ya,
