School... dun dun D U N!

Monday starts a new adventure for me.  Can I stop there?

I suppose I should continue....  Many of you know that I have worked in the insurance industry since I was 17.  I had many intentions on going to college after graduating high school, but my career took off and I was able to take such a grasp on insurance.  The knowledge I have gained and experience I have does not come often being 22 years old; ok almost 23 here in just over a week, but that is besides the point.  Monday I am headed back to get my degree because I am ready to progress and continue on this second chance I get.  Is it crazy for me to work full time and go to school full time?  I don't think it's that bad either. Initially I was going to take 15 credits, but I figured I needed to leave in the real world and not completely over do it.  So here's what I am up against this semester........

Art 101 ( so I get to learn how to draw.... this will be very interesting; I've decided I want to get into some type of design eventually so this is my start; next semester I will take the CAD Class I wanted to take.)

Psychology 101 (I'm very excited for this class.  I love the brain... how it works; always have been...Since I can't be a brain surgeon like I wanted to be growing up this might do).

Communications 101.
AshLyn talked me into taking this with her.... our poor poor poor teacher....

And last but not least

English 101.

I am excited to be able to go back and start something new.  Wish me luck on this fun adventure!

Journal Entry #3

I have not been very good about this journaling/blogging thing as I have wanted to be... I think about it all the time though.... It's the thought that counts... RIGHT?!

Journal Entry #3: What is your favorite household chose to do?  What is your least favorite household chore to do?

Hahahaha, I think this is a funny one for me.... I don't quite see the value in chores; I know with chores it brings a clean home which always brings a smile to face and sense of peace, but I would rather be out and about doing something else.  With that thought..... If I had to pick a favorite household chore I would pick........

DISHES!

Yes, you saw that right.... I'd pick dishes.  I think I just like to splish splash in the water....

Now on to the second part of the question.

I really hate doing laundry; I don't know what it is or why I despise it so much but I do.

However in the long end, I end up doing it.

Me + Laundry = No Fun.

Finished Product of Name Tags

As promised here is a photo of the name tags that I made for the girls' cheerleading bags... for a random idea they turned out really cute!! All I did after that was tie them on their bags with ribbon.
Enjoy!

NYE 2011 Recap

There once was a girl named Chelsea and after she held cheer practice on Thursday morning... she decided to take a drive.  She ended up in a land that most people like to call... Happy Valley, Utah County, or good ole' Provo/Orem, UT.

I was so excited to be able to go up and visit some friends that I have not had the opportunity to see in a few years... and I just want to write a recap so I can remember all of the fun memories.  We didn't take a lot of photos from the weekend so this is going to be mostly words... pretty much all words.

When I got in to Orem-- Stacie was having a little get together at her place and I was able to see some old friends and meet some new ones.  There was lots of laughs and smiles and a huge sense of home for me.  I missed a lot of these people! Bed time that night somewhere around 130 or 2...

On Friday; Stacie and I went to lunch with Danica and her two little girls.  They are cute and such little women... It was fun to catch up with them and of course eat and Pizza Factory.  The rest of the day was spent trying to make NYE plans and running errands...

That night we went to dinner at Los Hermanos with Chris, Aubrey, Nick, Megan, Stacie, Nicola, Steve(o), Kyle, Clint, and his buddy Nick... and hahaha! That was an enjoyable time and lots of fun.  We had an awesome waiter who put up with all of us!  After dinner we went to a party hosted by some guys that are in Nicola's (new friend) ward... it was "Casino Night!"  Me, Stacie, Nicola, and Steve (o) went to the party and later on that night Fred and Skyler met up with us.  After we did the count down we headed back to Stacie's house and played some games.. Dree and her Kyle met back at the house to play with us.  We def were up extra late that night... I think we were up until 3:30 or 4....

On Saturday; Stacie and I got up and went to breakfast with some of her family for her Mom's birthday and then went back and took a nap.... Later in the afternoon we went sledding with Fred, Skyler, and Steve(o)!  That was fun... but I for sure hurt!  After sledding we watched Stacie's nephews... really I just held the baby most of the time though... They were all soooooo cute!  Then it was back to Stacie's for HOT TUBBIN...!!! and then we were up late watchin' movies.

After all of that... today came and I had to leave... :(

That is the summary.

It was so much fun and I totally needed it! I am grateful I was able to see lots of people and get to know some new ones along the way too!!!

Thank you EVERYONE!!

Saying Goodbye.

This last week I said goodbye to a dear friend of mine...

No Moses did not die.  He is still good and alive.  I just decided it was time for him to go to a good home where he could get the love and attention he was use to getting.  I spend almost a whole year going home and spending time with this little guy, but now I have me back and life.  I'm grateful I had a wonderful furry friend to keep me company.  Thank you to Brian & Heather Hout who have taken this sweet face into their home.  They surprised their kids for Christmas! It was fun. :)

PS: I will still write a children's book about Moses one day! :)
